Dr. Nwoga is a board-certified Pediatrician with residency training from Sinai Children’s Hospital in Chicago, where she gained hands-on experience in advanced pediatric care. Licensed in Maryland, Dr. Nwoga blends clinical expertise with a warm, empathetic approach shaped by her own experience as a mother of two. She enjoys traveling, singing, and running. She is committed to supporting families with compassionate, evidence-based care. Dr. Nwoga will be acting as a medical director in addition to her duties as a practicing pediatrician.​​​

Dr. Valsangkar received her medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School. After completing her pediatric residency training at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC, she also obtained a Master's in Public Health from Harvard University, where she was a Reynolds Foundation Fellow in Social Entrepreneurship. At Bay Haven, Dr. Valsangkar is affectionately known as “Dr. Bina”, and she practices general pediatrics, caring for children and adolescents from birth to young adults. Dr. Bina’s interest and passion in caring for children goes well beyond the boundaries of pediatrics. She is a pediatric and newborn technical advisor for the Saving Newborn Lives Program at Save the Children, where she works with Ministries of Health in Malawi, Uganda, and Ethiopia to reduce neonatal mortality through health programming, policy, and program-based research. Dr. Bina lives in Washington DC with her family and she is fluent in Spanish and French!
